Hello...I'm Bill Rowland - the Developer of Miller's Glen. I have been involved in Real Estate at various levels since 1971. Besides Miller's Glen, I developed Eagle's Point,Wanamaker Estates and Sherwood Park right here in Topeka. When I first saw the ground where Miller's Glen is located, I knew immediately that this was a special piece of property that needed a special community. Working with my engineers, the City of Topeka staff and Shawnee County Planning, Miller's Glen was created. I named Miller's Glen after Lowell Miller, a long time businessman, developer, builder and friend that loved people and someone I considered a mentor.

We designed Miller's Glen around the property, not on top of the property. Miller's Glen features a natural country setting, large green spaces, and is outlined by natural stream buffers and trees. We narrowed the private streets and added street lights, walking trails, clustered the home sites and built a "Village Hall". It has a large gathering area, fireplace, exercise room, a pub with a pool table and a heated pool.

Then we designed some great "live large" maintenance assisted homes with unique floor plans, exciting features and wonderful amenities. I just imagined a place where I would ideally like to live and then tried my hardest to develop it. Miller's Glen is a community that creates a true feeling of security - neighbors that know their neighbors. It's like living in the country, but in the middle of a friendly little town. The Ediger name has been synonymous with the home building business in Topeka for 50 years. Ron grew up in the Topeka area and graduated from Kansas University in 1978 with a BS degree in Mechnical Engineering. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Delaware. Following graduation, Ron and his family moved to Texas and embarked on a 23 year career with DuPont Chemical which involved positions in plant design and construction to national sales manager. They were relocated to six different states and resettled back in Topeka in 1990,where he continued with Dupont until 2001 when he left to start his residential construction business as Medallion Homes, Inc. He has built over 150 homes in the Topeka and Lawrence areas. Ron and his wife Louella still reside in Topeka while raising their seven children ranging in ages from 31 to 5, with three graduated from college, one enrolling at KU and three in grade school.
