After making the decision to move to Topeka to be closer to my children and grandchildren, I was looking for an area where I would feel safe and enjoy my neighbors. I found this at Miller's Glen where I had several choices of floorplans to chose from. I elected to build the "Cambridge" model. Miller's Glen gave me the feeling of living in the country, yet still being close to shopping and restaurants. It is such a warm and caring area with neighbors who I call my friends. They are always there to look out for each other. We have great social activities at the Village Hall where we meet and enjoy each others company . I can't think of anywhere else I would want to call "Home" other than Miller's Glen. Billie Johnson |

In 2004, we made the decision to relocate after living in Colby, Kansas for forty-three years. We hoped to be closer to most of our Children and Grandchildren. With our home in Colby selling much more quickly than we expected, we picked two weekends in June and took whirlwind tours of existing homes in Topeka and Salina. Miller's Glen, with the amenities, the community concept and the pre-started homes had great appeal. The Hampshire model had most of the features we wanted, so with the help of the sales staff, we were able to make some color and fixture choices to give it our personal touch. On July 21st, 2004, we closed and moved into our beautiful new home at Miller's Glen. We know we made the right choice because now our "New Neighbors are like old Friends". Vic & Marj Van Camp |

The beautiful homes and the maintenance free living first attracted us to Miller's Glen. We fell in love with the bright cheerful openness of the living room and the spacious kitchen the moment we walked through the front door of the "Trenton" style home we bought. We also appreciated the protections set in place to keep the area attractive. We soon discovered that Miller's Glen was much more than just a residential development. It is a community in itself, comprised of wonderful and interesting people whom we quickly became acquainted through the frequent social gatherings at the Village Hall. The community's location is perfect. It has the feeling of a rural area, yet is within a few minutes of all the shops and restaurants on Wanamaker Road and all the major grocery stores. We were actively looking for a lovely maintenance free area when we discovered Miller's Glen with all its natural beauty. The people were so friendly and seemed to enjoy life at Miller's Glen. We found the "perfect lot", so after 31 years in one home, we decided Miller's Glen was the right location for us. We are truly enjoying our well built "Barstow" model home. We were able to make some changes and modify the original floor plan to meet the needs and wants we wanted in our new home. We are also enjoying the peaceful and quite neighborhood. Our many new friends are so supportive and helpful. The clubhouse and pool lends itself to an active social life. Being free of yard work allows us more time to travel and simply relax. Miller's Glen is a great place to call home. Bill & Jan Allen |
